Do Refrigerator water filters remove fluoride?

I am interested to know if the built-in water purification system in a typical refrigerator (this is a GE model) to remove fluoride from water?

My professor of chemistry at the college, claimed that fluoride is a known human carcinogen and that it provides no net benefit in health care actually teeth alone. I'm not a fan of water fluoride, as I have seen the studies show that fluoride leads to all sorts of health problems....
